Distinguishing Characteristics

She has two piercings in each earlobe, two helix piercings, and a tragus piercing in her left ear. She has a tattoo of a Smurf on her shoulder, a tattoo of a four leaf clover and vines in black ink across her lower back, and her name, Sara, tattooed in dark colored script on the outside of her right ankle. White 2023 Kia with Florida license plate 37KPP. The vehicle is also missing. CP

Timeline, October 30, 2024

She was last seen walking her dog near Hypoluxo Road and Eastview Drive in Lantana, Florida, and neither she nor the dog has been seen or heard from since. (Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office account, reported by The Palm Beach Post; see NOTES.)

She was reportedly dropped off at The Hive, a pet friendly restaurant in Lantana, and planned to spend the evening there before returning to her home in the vicinity of Hypoluxo Road and Eastview Drive. CP

Her dog, Cooper, is a nine year old tan and white male pit bull with masses or lumps on his back. He disappeared with her and has never been seen again. CP

At the time she disappeared she worked in human resources at Halifax Health, and her family in Pennsylvania requested a welfare check after several weeks without contact. Authorities have said she disappeared under suspicious circumstances. CP

In April 2025, deputies and a Florida Gulf Coast University forensic team searched the area around Hypoluxo Road and Eastview Drive on an investigative lead and found nothing. (Reported by The Palm Beach Post; see NOTES.)

Anyone who saw Sara Gallagher or her dog Cooper in Lantana in late October 2024, anyone who saw her at The Hive restaurant that evening, and anyone who has seen her white 2023 Kia with Florida plate 37KPP since then. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is offering a $6,000 reward in this case.
