Distinguishing Characteristics

Her hair was dyed silver at the time she disappeared. She has a butterfly tattoo on her upper left arm, a pyramid tattoo on the inside of her left ankle, and a birthmark on the back of her neck at the right side of her hairline. Her ears are pierced. CP

Vehicle

Gray 2012 Kia Forte with Louisiana license plate 607-DNH and a dent near the gas cap. CP

The car also carried an LSUS sticker on the back window, which could have been removed.

Timeline

On the night of May 3, 2022, Hale and her boyfriend went to Fatty Arbuckle's bar in the 400 block of Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport, then returned to his grandparents' home about five and a half miles away, where they were staying. CP

May 4, 2022

At 6:06 a.m. she made a credit card purchase at a Chevron gas station on North Market Street. At 6:08 a.m. she called her sister and left a voicemail and did not sound distressed. Her phone was then turned off and never turned on again. CP

May 4, 2022

At 7:03 a.m. she was seen alone in her car leaving the Louisiana Tower Parking Garage in the 300 block of Travis Street. She has not been heard from since, and electronic tracking showed she had driven back and forth between the house and central Shreveport several times that morning. CP

At the time she disappeared, Hale was a computer science student at Louisiana State University, Shreveport. CP

Volunteer searchers, including the United Cajun Navy, checked area waterways for signs of a car going in and found none.

What Would Help Most

Any sighting, camera footage or plate reader hit for the gray 2012 Kia Forte, Louisiana plate 607-DNH, anywhere after 7:03 a.m. on May 4, 2022, because neither Hale nor her car has been found.
