Circumstances
Pauratore, 84, left his residence in Covington, Louisiana at about 9:55 a.m. on January 29, 2021 for a doctor’s appointment, driving his blue 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with Louisiana license plate B952065. His vehicle was seen on camera in Biloxi, Mississippi at about 2:00 p.m. that day. At about 5:00 p.m. his daughter reached him by cell phone; he said he did not know where he was, and at a gas station he learned he was in Mobile, Alabama. A 911 call was made, but he left before help arrived. His phone later pinged in Pine Mountain, Georgia, and the last witness confirmed sighting was at a gas station in Moss Point, Mississippi at about 4:45 p.m. on January 30, 2021. He has never been located. His case remains unsolved.
