Circumstances
Demers was last in contact with his family in San Diego, California on December 18, 2021. His vehicle, a black 2010 Lexus LS 460 with the California license plate number 8WRC852, crossed into Mexico from the United States at about 2:30 a.m. that day. He has never been seen or heard from again. Demers has tattoos reading “Los Angeles” on his chest, “Jacob” on one wrist and “Shawn” on the other. At the time he was wearing a white t-shirt, a gray or black windbreaker jacket, dark blue Levi’s jeans and a black beanie hat. His case remains unsolved.
