Circumstances
Hope was last seen at his home in the Collister neighborhood of Boise, Idaho on July 11, 2016. He left his money and both of his hearing aids behind; he is hearing impaired and cannot communicate without them. He was in severe physical pain and a surgery meant to relieve it had been delayed. He may be driving a silver 2003 Pontiac Bonneville with Idaho license plate 1A7478F and may have tried to travel to McCall, Idaho, though his sons said his pain limited how long he could drive. Police believe he disappeared under suspicious circumstances. His case remains unsolved.
