Circumstances
Shawver, whose nickname is Duke, was last seen in St. Maries, Idaho on November 19, 2016. His last contact was a text message to his wife, sent from the Seattle, Washington area. Police briefly canceled his missing person report in December 2016 after an unidentified caller claimed he was fine and wanted to be left alone, but he never contacted his family, and the investigation was reopened in June 2017. He may be driving a maroon and red 2006 Ford F-350 pickup truck with Idaho license plate KV2800 and a large slip fuel tank in the bed. His case remains unsolved.
