Pacheco was last seen in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 9, 1965. She and her fiance, Albert De Mattos, visited his son that morning and then went for a drive in his gray/blue four-door 1957 Pontiac with license plate 5A-31514, saying they would return soon. Pacheco called her daughter at 2:00 p.m. to say they were going for a drive, and neither she nor De Mattos was ever heard from again. She left her purse, wedding ring and prescription medications behind. Her case remains unsolved.
