Circumstances
Duran was last seen in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 3, 2018. That was the day he left work to start a vacation, and he told a coworker he planned to travel by kayak to the Philippines to visit his girlfriend and daughter. He apparently set sail from Honolulu and has never been seen or heard from again; he is considered lost at sea. His gold 2005 Chevrolet Astro van with Hawaii license plate RRY 208 is also missing. His case remains unsolved.
