Jerry Lee Armstrong, 17, was last seen on December 23, 1977 in Hernando, Mississippi. He had dinner with his family that evening, then went to a Christmas dance and prom at the National Guard Armory with his girlfriend. After he took her home that night, he never arrived home himself. He was expected by midnight and was reported missing the next day.
Investigators initially treated his disappearance as voluntary, but his family never believed he left on his own, and foul play is suspected. He has never been heard from again.
Jerry was a senior at Hernando High School, where he was the quarterback of the football team, and he also worked at a local gas station. He was wearing a dark green suit, a yellow shirt, a green tie, and black shoes with stacked heels.
