West was last seen in the 100 block of Church Street in St. Joseph, Michigan on November 24, 1977. She was separated from her husband and in the process of divorcing him, and he did not report her missing until December 5, 1977. Her late-1960s or early-1970s greenish-brown full-sized station wagon disappeared with her and has never been found. Her family reported a history of domestic violence in the marriage. Her case remains unsolved.
