Tionda was last seen at her family’s home in Chicago, Illinois on July 6, 2001, with her younger sister Diamond. Their mother returned from work to find both girls gone; a note in Tionda’s handwriting indicated they planned to walk to a nearby school and store, and neighborhood children reported seeing them playing outside around noon.
