Circumstances
Shaffer, a second-year medical student at Ohio State University, was last seen at the Ugly Tuna Saloona bar near the OSU campus in Columbus, Ohio in the early morning hours of April 1, 2006, talking with two women. Security cameras recorded him entering the bar but never leaving it. His car was still parked at his apartment, and his cellular phone, credit cards and bank accounts have not been used since. He has a tattoo of a Pearl Jam symbol on his upper right arm and a small black spot on the iris of his left eye. His case remains unsolved.
