Nguyen traveled from Orange County, California on May 15, 2017 with Johnson Nguyen, Anesi Sauta and Tony Sysavanh. The group was last known to be in Trinity County, California on May 16, 2017. Their rented silver 2015 Jeep Cherokee, California license plate 7UGP903, has never been recovered, and their phones were used in the Stockton area on May 18 and 19. Nguyen is of Vietnamese descent and has a tattooed sleeve on his left arm and a chest tattoo. Foul play is suspected. His case remains unsolved.
