Circumstances

Jaramillo disappeared with a younger friend, Lloyd Michael Reese. On June 3, 1985 the two left Reese’s home in the 100 block of East 1700 South in Salt Lake City, Utah with two other friends and went to East Canyon Reservoir to go boating. At some point during the day Jaramillo and Reese became separated from their companions and disappeared. They were last seen driving a brown Datsun B210. Neither has been heard from again, and authorities say they have little evidence and do not know whether the pair met with an accident or foul play. Jaramillo has one chipped front tooth, a scar on his chin and a tattoo on his right hand. He was a student at Salt Lake Community College and worked with his father at the New Grand Hotel. The friends they were with that day are not considered suspects. His case remains unsolved.
