Circumstances
Schelling, who was eight weeks pregnant, drove from her home in Denver to Pueblo, Colorado on the night of February 4, 2013 after her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas, asked her to meet him. She was last seen in Pueblo on February 5, 2013. Her black 2011 Chevrolet Cruze was later found abandoned at a hospital parking lot, and surveillance video showed Lucas driving her car and using her bank card. Lucas was convicted of her murder in 2021, but Schelling’s remains have never been found. She has several tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on the back of her neck and cursive writing on the inside of her left arm. Her case remains unsolved.
