Naranjo was last seen in Whittier, California on July 4, 2008, leaving his residence with his friend Jose Nery Guillen. They were traveling by car to Sonora, Mexico to visit Guillen’s father and never arrived. The vehicle, a black 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche with California license plate 7W80666, has not been recovered. Naranjo was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and tennis shoes. His case remains unsolved.
