Blackwell was last seen in Clinton, Maryland on May 6, 1996. He was abducted by his non-custodial father, Reuben Bennett Blackwell Sr., who picked him up from day care that day and fled with him in a blue 1993 Volvo 940 sedan. A federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued for the father on September 22, 2000. The child may go by the first name Bennett. His case remains unsolved.
