Patterson was last seen in Lumberton, North Carolina at 11:30 a.m. on September 5, 2017. She left her home on East 9th Street saying she had errands to run and would be back in half an hour, walked toward Inglewood Avenue, and got into a brown Buick sedan. The driver, an acquaintance, later told police he dropped her off somewhere else. She has never been heard from again. She has a tattoo of three birds in black ink on the back of her right shoulder and a dark birthmark on the back of her right thigh. Her case remains unsolved.
